Michael Rosler is a jazz musician and a poet. He is a trumpet & flugelhorn player and a vocalist who has played just about every style of music. He is especially fond of jazz/swing/blues/Dixieland and is recognized as a formidable carrier of the Louis Armstrong/Roy Eldridge tradition. He currently plays with the “Saints of Swing,” a Hudson-Valley-based-band which performs the best of swing, ballroom, down-home blues and dixieland jazz.

As a poet, his work is just beginning to see the light of day and the same soulfulness and passion that infuses his trumpet-playing is evident in his poems.
